Owner Spotlight : Chris Steele
I’m Chris Steele, proud owner of Acorn Tree Service.
I look forward to sharing my story and hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
The most enjoyable part of my job is talking to people that trust my expertise and rely on my reputation to choose Acorn Tree Service. I am in this business because I enjoy taking care of clients and their needs.
I grew up in River Oaks and studied at Richland High School. I’ve always had a deep sense of commitment to my community. With over twenty years of experience in the landscaping business, I established Acorn Tree Service. We are a family-owned company providing tree removal, tree and bush trimming, stump grinding and removal, and emergency clean-up services. We operate all in Southlake, Keller, Colleyville, Grapevine, North Richland Hills, Lewisville, Argyle, Coppell, Hurst, Euless, Bedford and surrounding areas.
As the owner of the business, my responsibilities include taking care of my clients, keeping my employees happy and most importantly, taking care of my family. I am skilled at multi-tasking and kind when dealing with my clients. I’m always determined that nothing can come in the way of completing a job. I personally value integrity, honesty, commitment, dedication, fairness and a strong work ethic.
On a typical day at work, I meet with clients and create estimates. I also set up the crews, delegate jobs, and supply my employees with the tools needed to do their work. On average, I work for seventy hours a week. The most important decisions that I make as the owner are related to managing schedules, hiring new employees and following up with clients on the jobs that have been completed. I attribute most of my business success to being faithful to my God, his word and his church.
My leadership style has been influenced by the many great men and women that continuously serve people. I admire businesses like Southwest Airlines for their dedication towards their most valuable employees and clients. I also have high regard for the ‘Chick-fil-A’ chain of restaurants for their dedication to Sundays off.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love to play sports including basketball, ping-pong, football and horse shoes. I strongly support the local church so they can continue to be a strong presence in the community. I also believe in building a great family, friends and team environment.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
If you or someone you know could benefit from our expertise at Acorn Tree Service, I invite you to get in touch.
